The Common Ground

We had a great showing at the Common Ground Country Fair this past weekend in Unity, put on by MOFGA. The fair really made me happy for where Barkwheats is right now, and very excited for where we are going in the future. Our next mission is to create a locally produced raw food diet for dogs, and I go to the University of Maine in Orono at the end of October to begin the process. Common Ground Country Fair

Today we finish up our biscuits for the Common Ground Fair. We've been working around the clock to get ready for it, and now it's all wrapping up! We ended up getting quite a few boxes baked up to make a good number of dogs happy. The final tally isn't in just yet, but it's around 2100 boxes. We did this in 10 days, too. First day of work

Things started off rocky between me and Janssen. First he decided to blow a gasket (or rather the motor for the phase converter) for being put back to work after having a vacation for so long (it's a refurbished unit from 2006).
