Hello! Even though I live in western Maine, I visit your website to get the latest on what's happening in Portland. I try to go to the city every 6 weeks or so because being a foodie it's the only way to get to eat other cuisines. Thanks for a great website and newspaper-magazine. Cheers for the New Year!

Hi MS,
Eventhough I don't live in Portland, I find your paper interesting AND useful.
Me? I make humous and bread and I've been trying to find a commercial kitchen as near to me--Durham, for now--as possible.
The main thrust of my 'marketing idea' is LOCAL. The bread is made from organic wheat that's grown and milled in Maine, by me and I'm in Maine too! The organic humous is also made by me but the ingredients aren't local.
If you hear about, either, a kitchen that's not to far from Durham, OR one that has living qtrs nearby--'cos I'll move anywhere--let me know, OK?
Thanks, Marsha
