Other info about Me (please mention any food, fishing, agriculture, or community groups you are affiliated with):
I am 5th or 6th generation of a fishing family in town., with my husband and sons keeping me supplied now in lobsters, crabs ( rock ,limber legs and in the winter delicious spider crabs.Maine has been very conservative oriented in its lobster fishery since the fifties . In buying Maine Lobster you know you are supporting a well conserved and sustainable industry that its participants work hard to protect..

I was and am part of the very active group in promoting and helping establish Holbrook Community Foundation (working waterfronts) which bought and is now improving the Holbrook working waterfront, mixed use property.

I am a volunteer at the Cundy's Harbor Library, CH Fire Dept Aux.

My inlaws have owned green houses for years..Hawkes Farm Greenhouse in North Bath and are trying to get into growing tomatoes, lettuce etc for the marketsin the winter. They are known for their beautiful geraniums (by cuttings) as well as annuals, perennials and a few shrubs. they now have9 greenhouses.

All this means is that I love Maine, its farmlands as well as its coast.
and try to support our locally owned businesses so we can protect what Maine is and buy as much as possible locally grown, baked, raised food.
