What issues are you and/or your group interested or expert in?
food justice, home gardens, community gardens, hunger and local foods access, farmers' markets, local foods marketing and distribution, food coops
Other info about Me (please mention any food, fishing, agriculture, or community groups you are affiliated with):
I am not growing any food at the moment, but I seek out local foods at the Farmer's Market and the health food store in Bar Harbor where I work. Not only are local foods tastier and more nutritious, but I see eating locally as a way to build community and create peace. I don't like eating food that requires a lot of petroleum to grow and get to me, and that kind of diet can't be sustained much longer anyway.
