I eat them every morning for breakfast - with a little farm-fresh yogurt (I love the stuff from Winter Hill Farm in Freeport) and a few tablespoons of granola. Yum! It's the same thing I eat for breakfast almost every morning of the year - except th…

Hey Nicole! As far as I'm concerned there's no better way to eat them than straight up in a bowl with cream/milk and sugar, throw in some peaches or raspberries to take it up a notch. -There's recipes out there for berry pies that use fresh uncook…

What about sorbet? If you've got an ice cream maker, it's easy. I've got a recipe here: http://www.mittenmachen.com/2009/07/summer-first-blueberries-perfect-for.html Or, you can freeze the berries. Put them in smoothies or save them for baking in c…

Stuff To Make With Blueberries?

So I bought a quart of blueberries, just thinking I live in Downeast Maine and they are fresh and good.

Problem is it's been so hot, I'm not sure of what I can make with them that doesn't involve steaming up my kitchen.

Anyone have any ideas of what I can do with a ton of delicious blueberries without making my kitchen an inferno?
