We have a small homestead / farm (Ten Apple Farm) in Gray, where we have a small herd of dairy goats (4) that we just started milking and making cheese and yogurt. We also grow vegetables, have a small orchard of apple trees, and raise chickens and ducks for meat and eggs. We are founding members of Slow Food Portland, and also members of Hazon, and ALBC.
Hmmm....very interesting. What weekend in Sept, because we attend all three days of the Common Ground Fair...I'll discuss this with my family and you let me know what's entailed. Thanks!! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, btw, it's been crazy here, looong story.
