Two Toad Farm is a small, diversified vegetable farm that began growing commercially in 2008. The majority of the 1.5 acres in production is leased from community members who are committed to preserving local farm land. The mission of Two Toad Farm is to protect local farmland by putting it into viable, organic vegetable production. Affordable organic produce for the local community and stable farm jobs is the result. Two Toad Farm is interested in leasing other fields of 2 acres or more in Lebanon for future expansion.

What We Offer: 50 summer vegetable shares, and a winter CSA ('09-'10). Full shares cost $475.00 ($450.00 if paid in full by February 1, 2009). Although a limited number of half shares are available for $275.00, the farm encourages full shares paid early. If shares are too large, members should freeze/ can extras for the winter or split their share with a friend or another family. At the pickup site, you can purchase additional produce by the pound or bunch at retail prices, along with limited and/or specialty crops like hot peppers, wild mushrooms, wild blueberries and more. Bulk rates are often available for canning/freezing for the winter months. A cut flower share may or may not be available for 2009… stay tuned!

How You Can Get It: Shares must be paid in full by April 1, 2009. A non-refundable $150.00 deposit is required to reserve a share before April 1st. Beginning in late May and extending into October (18-20 weeks depending on the season), shares are picked up once a week during regular Tuesday afternoon fresh market from 4-7:00 pm. Market is held at Farmfield Nursery and Greenhouses on route 202 between Welch’s Hardware and the Depot Road.
