I eat them every morning for breakfast - with a little farm-fresh yogurt (I love the stuff from Winter Hill Farm in Freeport) and a few tablespoons of granola. Yum! It's the same thing I eat for breakfast almost every morning of the year - except ...

Other info about Me (please mention any food, fishing, agriculture, or community groups you are affiliated with):
I am a longtime member of MOFGA because of my strong interest in food, gardening, and belief in a farming system that enriches rather than depletes the earth.

Most of my activism in recent years in around issues other than food, but we have a large garden and, for what we don't grow, we purchase as much as we can figure out from local sources.

I love tasting local foods when I travel.

Eat Local Foods Meetings?

At the Common Ground Fair I got a postcard about a series of "Eat Local Food" meetings. It was also discussed in the Eat Local roundtable in the Ag Demo area. There was one scheduled for 9:30am in the Augusta area on October 16 and I thought we were told that the location would be posted on the events log of this website when it was finalized (that's what I wrote on my calendar at the time). Anyone know anything about this meeting?

Thanks for any info!
