Eat Maine Foods!

My book manuscript, "Bringing Maine Home: The Regeneration of a Local Food Community" is complete and out to several potential agents and Chelsea Green Publishers. Please add your intention to mine that it be published and promote local food.

If you are interested in becoming a reader/commenter for the manuscript, let me know.

Also, if you think "Feeding You and ME: The Regeneration of Maine's Local Food Community" is a stronger title, let me know.

Hi Merry - All my best thoughts for your book landing with the right publisher. I think I like the first title.

Take care,

Merry,
I too like the first title and would be interested in reading/commenter for your manuscript. I have been a restaurant critic in Charleston SC, before moving to Maine. Email me privately if you wish.

Merry, best of luck on your book. I like the first title best. Also I would be happy to read your manuscript if you still have a need. I have consulted CSA farms, owned an organic farm, and worked within the realm of food, farming and the healing arts. Thanks, Liz

Dear Liz, Thank you for your feedback and your interest. I'd love to have you read the manuscript. Your experience will make you a great critic. I can email you one or two chapters at a time. Please contact me at mainelyorganic (at) yahoo (dot) com and I'll send you the first two chapters.
Gratefully, Merry

Hi Meredith,
Cynthia Thayer here. I had no idea you were writing a foodie book. As you probably know, I have an organic farm and am very into food - local and organic.

Where do you have the book? Seems like your memoir - which was great - is doing well.

Although maybe it is a little cutesy, I like the 2d title. And I'll look for your book when it's (hopefully) published.
