Local Foods Buying Clubs?
Is anyone out there involved in organizing a local foods buying club? We have started buying from Crown o'Maine Cooperative here in Portland, and I'd love to hear from anyone else who is doing the same- even just informally with friends.

Hello--I have a buying club in Portland--I own Second Chance Farm & Longfellow's Creamery in Avon, and I deliver to Portland. The employees at Standard Baking buy from me, as do a number of individuals. Checkout our website--www.longfellowscreamery.com Kathy

I'm thinking about a club in the Lewiston area. I live in Sabattus. I'm especially interested in Maine produce and products. Do you know of any? Jim at Crown O' Maine has an interesting section on his website about how to organize and run a buying group. Merry at mainelyorganic@yahoo.com
