Event Description

Now in its fifth year, Maine's Vegetarian Food Festival celebrates plant-based foods and a healthy lifestyle. The free festival includes food food, exhibitors, workshops, cooking demos, kids activities and a raffle. Exhibitors include Green Elephant Vegetarian Bistro, Silly's Restaurant, GRO Cafe, Pepper Club, Bard Coffee, 13th Cookie, Maine Coast Sea Vegetables, Whole Foods Market, Vega (Sequel Naturals), Follow Your Heart, Kiss My Face, Sun & Earth, Robert's American Gourmet, Manitoba Harvest, V-dog, and Wildwood Organics.

Workshops include:
Choose Life, Choose Living Raw Foods Demo presented by vegan chef and owner of Rite Food & Company (www.ritefoodandcompany.com), Lisa Marie Lindenschmidt.

Get Your Green Smoothie On presented by Jeanette Richelson, a Certified Holistic Health Counselor and owner of Livity Health Coaching (www.livityhealthcoaching.com)

Vegan Cooking, Easier Than You Think! Prepping Your Kitchen for Delicious Vegan Meals presented by Nichole K. Tracy, RYT, a vegan for over seventeen years and the owner of Sun Salutations Yoga & Wellness Center in Buxton, Maine
